AnomaPay Private Beta is Live on Base
Following the recent launch of Anoma on Base, AnomaPay’s private beta is now live, unlocking easy private payments on Base for early users.

AnomaPay is now live in private beta on Base. This marks an important first step in launching AnomaPay’s seamless, private onchain payments to the world.
AnomaPay is an Anoma application that makes it easy to pay anyone privately with any asset on any blockchain. It enables you to send private payments using the assets you already own: no need to use specific privacy coins or privacy chains, and no need to set up new wallets or download new software. During the invite-only private beta on Base, a select group of early users can access AnomaPay to experience its core feature of native private payments. With support for the top 50 assets on Base by market capitalization, the private beta will be used to collect feedback and fix any issues ahead of AnomaPay’s public launch.
Base was selected for the private beta phase for its strong community and ecosystem, speed and cost benefits, and because Base’s vision to bring a billion people onchain aligns with Anoma’s emphasis on making decentralized applications accessible and easy to use for everyone.
AnomaPay’s private beta follows the recent launch of Anoma on Base, unlocking native intents and programmable privacy for Base’s builders and applications.
Anoma is the distributed operating system (DOS) that connects and unifies existing blockchains into a single interface for developers and users to interact with, and enables a new way to build applications based on users’ goals and preferences (intents).
By abstracting the complexity of onchain infrastructure, Anoma enables builders to focus on product-market fit and providing user experiences that meet or exceed the ease-of-use of conventional offchain applications.
With Anoma live on Base, all future Anoma applications also have the ability to run natively on Base, in addition to the other chains where Anoma is deployed.
What’s next
AnomaPay’s private beta is the first step in addressing a crucial shortcoming of onchain applications: the lack of users’ control over their own sensitive financial data.
After this phase, feedback from early users will be considered for incorporation into the application ahead of its public mainnet beta release. AnomaPay’s public beta will support additional blockchains where Anoma has been deployed, and will expand with Anoma’s rollout to new networks. From there, AnomaPay will continue to roll out new features that make compliant private payments easy for everyone, everywhere.
