Anoma is Now Live on Base
Anoma is live on Base! Developers and users on Base can now benefit from improved UX through native intents, programmable privacy, and interoperability via the Anoma Resource Machine.

Anoma is now live on Base, making native intents, programmable privacy, and interoperability available to Base’s 1M+ daily active users and 1000+ apps. This integration enables builders to create more seamless, intuitive experiences for their users via Anoma intents, with built-in support for opt-in, compliant privacy protections.
You can view the onchain deployment of the Anoma Protocol Adapter on Base here.
Anoma is the distributed operating system (DOS) unlocking native intents and programmable privacy for any chain. It connects and unifies existing blockchains into a single interface for developers and users to interact with, and enables a new way to build applications based on users’ goals and preferences (intents). Anoma is designed to make decentralized applications accessible to the widest possible group of users. By abstracting the complexity of onchain infrastructure, Anoma enables builders to focus on product-market fit and providing user experiences that meet or exceed the ease-of-use of conventional offchain applications. Base is a secure, low-cost, builder-friendly Ethereum L2 designed to help bring a billion users and a million developers onchain with an ecosystem of onchain applications.
Anoma shares Base’s vision of making a decentralized future more accessible to everyone, everywhere. With this deployment, Anoma provides builders on Base with even more tools to make that future a reality. It also allows upcoming Anoma applications, such as AnomaPay, to work seamlessly on Base.
The ARM on Base
With the launch of Anoma on Base, builders can now leverage the capabilities of the Anoma Resource Machine (ARM) for Base applications. The ARM is a virtual machine, similar to the EVM, but which enables builders to create applications with native intents and programmable privacy.
Intents enable simpler, more intuitive user experiences where you can express your desired outcome, without needing to worry about the technical steps necessary to make it happen. This enables more user-friendly applications, including automated experiences like AI agents and chatbots. With the ARM’s programmable privacy features, Base builders can leverage opt-in, compliant privacy protections with fine-grained control over data disclosure. This means apps can allow users to share specific data with specific parties for specific purposes, for example for auditing or compliance needs. The ARM unlocks a degree of data permissioning previously only available in the offchain world.
With these powerful tools now available on Base, we’re one step closer to making the decentralized future accessible to everyone, everywhere. Stay tuned for the launch of the first Anoma applications on Base, including AnomaPay, which will demonstrate the power of Anoma for seamless private payments.
