Starting today, builders can join an exclusive program designed to empower intents ecosystem projects to focus on what they do best - building. The Intents Initiates program will support select cohorts of builders developing projects in the Anoma ecosystem and the broader intents ecosystem. Builders accepted to the program become early pioneers of intent-centric applications, tools, and infrastructure – and gain access to exclusive perks and opportunities.

Anoma is spearheading the next phase of evolution for blockchain technology with its distributed operating system for intent-centric applications. As the industry's pioneering architecture for generalized intents, Anoma represents a new paradigm for decentralized applications and is cultivating a new ecosystem of intense builders. The Intents Initiates Program is designed to help accelerate the growth of the intents ecosystem by providing teams with the resources they need to build the intent-centric future for Web3.

The best of the best teams completing the program may earn their place in the Anomalies, an exclusive collective of top early pioneers of intent-centric technologies. Only the most intense builders have what it takes to be an Anomaly.

Program overview

The Intents Initiates Program empowers builders from product ideation to development, launch and beyond. Accepted teams receive support with engineering, fundraising, and product development as well as dedicated 1-on-1 mentorship.

A major highlight of the program will be the Intents Ecosystem Demo Day with projects presenting to potential backers, giving teams the opportunity to secure funding and take their projects to the next level. Additionally, the program features the possibility of token incentives from a grant pool of 25M XAN, providing further alignment with the ecosystem. 

This program is geared towards building long-term relationships while jointly creating the basis of the intents builder ecosystem.

Who should Apply?

We’re looking for builders that want to contribute to the intent-centric future of blockchain. Ideal candidates are engineering-driven teams and individuals who possess a strong understanding of blockchain applications and a proven track record of shipping code. Ultimately we’re looking for the Anomalies, an exclusive group of only the most intents of the intents builders.

Both established and early-stage teams are encouraged to apply to the program. Any intents-related project ideas are welcome. Project ideas may fit into the following four tracks, though additional project categories are also welcome to apply:

• Novel applications track: Use the power of intents to create novel applications like a multi-dimensional orderbook DEX, peer-to-peer chat app, supply-side Kickstarter competitor or whatever comes to mind. As long as you make it intents
• Infrastructure track: Build next generation intent-based infrastructure, tooling, wallets, explorers, and more
• Intent solver track: Contribute to the ecosystem with novel solver technology and harness Anoma to compose intent liquidity across various L1s and L2s
• Open track: Let your intents imagination run wild. Build open-source hardware, tools for public goods funding, create an entirely new monetary system, or develop any other idea that inspires you

How to apply

Submit your application at the link below by sharing your project idea and motivation, with a link to your GitHub to demonstrate how intents your engineering skills are. The program will accept projects in a series of cohorts, with applications remaining open continually. 

Applications are currently open – teams are encouraged to apply by March 6th to be considered for the first cohort. The evaluation period for cohort 1 will end on March 20th.
