Introducing Tokenized Stocks on AnomaPay
Now you can hold, send, and gift tokenized stocks privately on AnomaPay.

Tokenized stocks have landed on AnomaPay. You can now hold top bStocks from BNB Chain in your account, send them as payments, wrap them into private gifts, and do all of it without publishing your positions to the public internet.
Because your portfolio is your business.
This is the first time tokenized equities have been available in AnomaPay, and it arrives at a moment when adoption of tokenized stocks is moving fast.

About AnomaPay
AnomaPay is a private payments app built on the Anoma DOS (Distributed Operating System). When you deposit an asset, zero-knowledge cryptography keeps your balance and your activity readable by you and nobody else, shielding your identity, portfolio, and movements from public exposure. You keep the same chains, the wallets, and the assets you normally use: no need to acquire specific privacy assets or use specific privacy chains.
Why bStocks?
bStocks are tokenized shares on BNB Chain. Each one is backed 1:1 by a real share held with a custodian, and holders can convert between the token and the underlying share at any time. You can withdraw them as standard BEP-20 tokens into your own wallet. Now, you can hold and transfer them privately from within the AnomaPay app.
Adoption has been quick. Tokenized stock supply on BNB Chain has passed $1.2 billion, roughly double what sits on Ethereum, and one recent weekend saw $2 billion in trading volume. Close to 42% of bStocks users had never touched equities on Binance before, and a large share of the activity happens while US markets are closed. Apple, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, PayPal and others are already listed.
Tokenized equities are becoming a real asset class, which raises a question most people have never had to think about.
Who gets to see what you own?
Your offchain brokerage account is private. Your employer can’t see it, your neighbours can’t look up your cost basis, and a stranger can’t estimate your net worth by tracking your trades on a public ledger. That privacy is so ordinary that almost nobody thinks of it as a feature.
Tokenized stocks on a public chain work differently. Every purchase and every holding is public for anyone to see. Connections between your various onchain addresses can be used to trace every movement back to your real identity. Your onchain history becomes a complete trading diary open for anyone to read.
The consequences stack up quickly. Someone who can total your holdings knows roughly what you are worth, which makes you a target for phishing and for things considerably worse than phishing. People who work under trading windows or disclosure rules now have every transaction visible to their employer and to anyone else curious enough to look. Anyone managing money for others is broadcasting positions that competitors can trade against, and a wallet that becomes recognisable gets copied or front-run. Set all of that aside and there is still the simplest reason of all, which is that plenty of people would rather their colleagues, clients, and relatives not run the numbers on their portfolio.
Privacy here is not an exotic request. It is the standard every brokerage account already meets.
What you can do with stocks on AnomaPay
Deposit bStocks into your AnomaPay account to hold them privately, breaking any public link with your accounts outside of AnomaPay. The position exists and tracks the underlying share, and nobody can read it off the chain or trace it back to you.
You can also send and pay with bStocks the way you would with any other asset in AnomaPay, through a payment link you can share over any chat app. Your recipient claims it, and the details stay between the two of you.
bStocks also make great gifts. AnomaPay's Red Envelopes feature lets you send bStocks as gifts, without exposing your wallet or holdings to your giftee. A share in a company someone actually likes is always better than yet another gift card.
Everything sits alongside the assets already in your account, so your tokenized equities live next to your stablecoins, your ETH, and your tokenized gold in a single view that only you can see.
