AnomaPay is now officially out of beta and open to the world on BNB Chain and Ethereum. Following a successful Public Beta, the V1 app introduces multichain support, bringing AnomaPay to Ethereum Mainnet for the first time.

Introducing AnomaPay: private payments made easy

Until now, onchain privacy solutions have come with significant UX tradeoffs that make adoption at scale impractical. They forced users into specific privacy chains or privacy coins, required new wallets and software, and were typically slow and clunky to use. This put onchain privacy out of reach for all but the most savvy crypto-native users. 

AnomaPay makes confidential transactions accessible for the broadest possible audience, while maintaining the benefits of self-sovereignty and self-custody. It brings practical privacy to existing assets on the blockchains people already use. With a user-friendly web application, AnomaPay saves users from needing to install new wallets or software, buying specific privacy coins, or navigating different chains and bridges.

What can you do with AnomaPay V1 today?

Sign up in seconds: Use your existing wallet or a passkey for an even smoother experience. V1 supports MetaMask, Binance Wallet, Rabby, Phantom, Kelpr, OKX Wallet, and Coinbase Wallet. Accounts created are fully non-custodial. 

Deposit assets: V1 natively supports ETH, USDC, USDT, and XAN, with more assets on the way. Depositing to AnomaPay breaks linkability with your original wallet, enabling you to use your assets privately. Deposit caps have been removed for V1.

Send private payments with or without addresses: Forget copying and pasting long hexadecimal strings. With AnomaPay, you can send a payment link directly to your recipient however you want: Telegram, X, email, whatever. They click it, they get paid, and no one else knows the details. You can also share QR codes for easy in-person payments and onboarding.

Request payments with Request Links: Requesting a payment is easier than ever with payment Request Links. Just share them with your payer, have them scan a QR code, drop the link in an invoice. The other party can complete payment in seconds by visiting the link.

Pay fees without the headaches: One of the most annoying parts of using onchain apps is needing to hold the right gas token on the right chain. AnomaPay abstracts this away entirely. You no longer have to pay a premium for privacy, and fees are automatically deducted from the token you're sending. As of today, deposits and withdrawals are free, and transfers cost only the gas of the underlying chain.

Use it on mobile: V1 works on mobile devices via the in-app browsers of MetaMask, Phantom, Rabby, and Base mobile apps. To use AnomaPay via wallet apps like Metamask, just navigate to anomapay.app/login. The app will prompt you to open your supported wallet app to continue the process.

What's coming next

V1 marks the official public launch of AnomaPay, but several upgrades and improvements are already under development for release in the coming weeks and months. Here's what's coming up:

• AnomaPay Telegram Bot: send and receive payments with your Telegram contacts, top up your account, and manage your assets directly within the Telegram app
• AnomaPay private yield features: Earn yield while holding assets privately on AnomaPay
• Invoicing and payroll features: improved UX for business transactions and payroll with dedicated UI features
• Confidential swaps and bridging: Swap assets privately right inside the AnomaPay UI and bridge assets privately across chains
• The AnomaPay progressive web application (PWA): improved mobile UX with a PWA that can be installed on your devices homescreen for easy access and standalone transaction signing
• Client-side proving: moving ZK proof generation to the user's device for even stronger privacy guarantees
• Faster ZK proving: AnomaPay already offers fast proving times of ~15 seconds, but planned optimizations can bring that down to ~2 seconds 
• More chains and assets: Support for new blockchains and assets will be rolled out on a regular basis
